Somatic Yoga is a slow, nervous-system-led practice inspired by Somatic Experiencing.
Each class follows a thoughtfully designed sequence, while inviting moments of inner listening and somatic inquiry. You are guided through specific movements, with the freedom — and encouragement — to adjust them according to sensation, impulse, and need, restoring agency in the body.
Through intuitive adaptation, pauses, and choice, we explore themes such as establishing safety, allowing support, sensing and respecting boundaries, replacing chronic tension with structure, and releasing patterns of hyper-responsibility.
Over time, the practice builds balance, strength, and presence — both physically and emotionally — supporting a more regulated nervous system and a grounded, resilient way of being.
